If you are a highly motivated Work Health Safety Officer with experience in developing and implementing integrated people policies, practices and processes in relation to the safety and management of employee health and have an interest in supporting healthcare activities of the Australian Defence Force personnel who are every bit as committed and focused as you, then this position would suit you.
As the Work Health & Safety Officer you will be responsible for the provision of efficient, timely and accurate advice in relation to safety and employee health, well-being and prevention activities for Joint health Unit-Western Australia. Reporting directly to the Commanding Officer, the Work Health & Safety Officer is accountable for undertaking a range of procedural, operational, governance and administrative activities. They will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the requirements of the WHS position as well as the legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks that underpin its activities.
