Our Corporate Services branch is seeking to fill the role of Work Health and Safety Manager within their Human Resources section. The Manager, Work Health and Safety (WHS) plays a key role in delivering the Memorial’s work, health and safety strategy and early intervention and injury management program. The role operates under broad direction exercising a degree of independence to resolve WHS issues and delivery quality outcomes. The role is committed to partnering with business, cultivating a safety risk management culture and working independently and flexibly. This involves working with all levels of the organisation including the Corporate and Senior Management Groups, being pro-active and solution focussed, and coaching and influencing to enable safety to be integrated in core business operations. The role is responsible for managing and leading a small team and is also required to contribute to the work of the broader HR Team.
Do you have a string background in delivery of Work Health and Safety services? Do you have experience and expertise in analysing and interpreting data?
We are seeking candidates with ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manage investigations and incidents and develop high level reports to Executives on Work Health and safety activities.
