The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Building high quality, trusting relationships with business units;

  • Developing preventative OH&S strategies;

  • Proactively and continuously improving policies, systems, procedures and strategies;

  • Compliance and other reporting;

  • Responsibility for the safety management system

  • Educating and consulting to stakeholders across the organisation;

  • Audit and compliance management

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Be a pragmatic, practical and consultative OH&S expert;

  • Thrive when working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders;

  • Present and facilitate with presence, expertise and respect;

  • Be experienced at working in a diverse, challenging safety focused organisation (and developing this further);
