Your new company

Based across Melbourne suburbs, this organisation is one of the fastest growing development businesses in the area and are now seeking an experienced OHS to join their evolving business! In this full-time permanent position, you will be required to oversee all OHS functions on multiple residential and commercial construction sites and build meaningful relationships with employees.



Your new role

This role will report to the Head of Safety and work closely with a range of site managers, contractors, and other team members.
You will play a crucial part of the business in providing health, safety, environmental, and quality aspects of exciting construction projects.



Duties required


  • Act as the first point of contact for Health and Safety queries.

  • Conduct OHS site inductions across multiple locations in Melbourne.

  • Manage risks and hazards ensuring effective implementation of risk control.

  • Conduct all safety audits and maintain detailed compliance records.

  • Report all safety incidences accurately and promptly through appropriate measures.

  • Support contractor compliance ensures all information is up-to-date.

  • Organise and coordinate all additional training needs.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Certificate IV in OHS or higher.

  • Previous commercial construction experience - MUST HAVE

  • Excellent computer skills and familiar with safety systems(BuildPass, HammerTech or similar)

  • The ability to build great relationships with a range of stakeholders.

  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in OHS/HSE positions within commercial construction.

  • Adaptable and confident in managing a range of administration requirements.
