They have recently gone through a large transformation in their Sydney location which has gained further attraction and is a reflection of the company's capability to invest in their business.

Your new role
Due to their recent transformation, they have a newly created role for a Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to join their safety and operations team. The primary purpose of this role is to undertake activities to reduce injuries and improve the wellbeing of employees within the business. The role will be responsible for liaising with all levels of the business from the operational facilities team to corporate general managers to undertake incident investigations and from this, continuous improvement of their WHS systems, processes and policies. In addition, this role will be responsible for conducting Tool Box talks, Risk Assessments and the delivery of WHS training to ensure there is continuous improvement in the overall safety of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years experience in the operations side of safety and a minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety. You will have sound knowledge of WHS legislation and be able to interrupt this to ensure employees across the business understand what they need to do to be compliant and safe in the Workplace. Audit qualifications and exposure to workers compensation/RTW would also be desirable.
