About the company
Join a diverse organisation that provides a broad range of infrastructure and facility related services across the Northern Beaches region. This newly created organisation was formed as a result of the amalgamation of three organisations. This organisation is placing safety at the forefront. To succeed in its vision, the business recognises the important role that the Safety function plays in driving organisational transformation in partnership with business leaders.

About the role
Reporting into the Manager, Safety and Workers Compensation, these 3 newly created contract roles will form an integral part of the team to ensure the successful development and implementation of a uniform integrated WHS management system across the business. As the organisation currently does not have a management system and minimal documentation, your focus will be on the design and development of guidelines, procedures and supporting tools during the 6 month contract period. Should there be an additional 6 month contract extension, you will then move onto the next stages of the project.

About Success
The successful candidate must have the ability to hit the ground running and therefore have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a WHS function. Due to the specialised needs of this role, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate capability around writing reports, documents and submissions with the additional understanding of work flows and process flows. This role will require you to work closely with the Manager, Safety and Workers Compensation to ensure a smooth transition and build strong working relationships across the broader business to ensure the system is meeting their requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Cert IV in OHS and/or Training and Development. Although not required, there is a preference for candidates with previous experience implementing a WHS systems management system.

These roles presents the successful candidate with the opportunity to be an integral part of a large scale, change management journey and will provide a career challenge like no other. You will be skilled in the art of working under pressure and delivering to tight timeframes, whilst relishing in being immersed in a large organisation transformation.
