Injury Management / Return to Work Advisor - Contract

About the Role
This growing organisation is seeking an experienced Injury Management / Return to Work Advisor for a 3 month contract.

This role will is responsible for the implementation of health and wellbeing
programs; compliance with injury management and return to work programs, co-ordination of injury and return to work case management; perform workplace assessments; and the development and delivery of education and health surveillance programs to promote a safe and healthy working environment. More details responsibilities will see you doing the following:
  • Provide consistent, quality and timely support and advice to staff and management on  injury management, fitness for work, safety by design, health and wellbeing and other regulatory issues affecting the organisation.
  • Deliver injury management activities within the organisation to ensure safe and effective return to work of staff following a work related injury or non-work related injury.
  • Develop and maintain effective and sustained engagement with key internal and exxternal stakeholders.
About Success
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Degree in Health Sciences, preferably in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in WHS/RTW related role
  • Experience in management of both physical and psychological injuries
  • WorkCover Return to Work Co-ordinator Certificate
  • Experience conducting ergonomic assessments 
  • Knowledge of WHS Legislation and WorkCover Regulations
  • Experience in planning, developing and presenting training sessions to staff
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
