Health, Safety and Wellbeing Specialist Job in Melbourne CBD. 6m FTC. Circa $110k+super

Your new company
Our client a well-known Australian financial institution, is championing the health, wellness and wellbeing cultural change happening across Australia. They boast impressive CBD offices and are committed to increasing their employee's wellness. They are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing specialist to join the business on a 6m fixed term contract.

Your new role
You will be a champion within strategic safety systems. This role has a focus on risk and prevention. You will review key risks highlighted within the business. Continue to develop and implement comprehensive risk reviews. From an operational perspective you will check in on the safety climate in the business, doing regular pulse checks. Engagement visits will help to create tangible data to better improve the health, safety and wellbeing of the staff. You will also review and develop rehabilitation and workers compensation reviews. Creating a streamlined and easy to use set of policies, processes and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
You will come from a background within safety, specialising in risk identification and mitigation. You will be a strong communicator with a solid understanding of Victorian health and safety legislation and demonstrated experience in health and safety. You will be skilled in data analysis and understand the importance of metrics in planning future projects and understanding the current state of play.
