Reporting to the National EHS Manager, with a dotted line to the National Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation exceed compliance with relevant Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality legislative requirements and maintain compliance.
  
More specifically, day to day duties will include:
  • Provide hands on implementation support of the EHS and Quality Management System to senior managers, employees and EHS Committees.
  • Ensure that all ISO and AS/NZS certifications are maintained
  • Perform internal EHSQ audits according to audit schedules and assess the appropriateness of remedial actions proposed and implemented.
  • Implement and maintain the existing integrated management system and procedures.
  • Lead improvements to the EHSQ culture by partnering with personnel to embed and improve EHS in day to day activities.
  
The position requires a commercially astute, self starter who is unafraid to seek out the right stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover necessary information in order to be successful. The successful candidates will have excellent administration skills, be highly organised and be very well versed at working within a highly competitive, high volume and fast paced environment. Your communication skills will be well developed and you will be able to articulate important information in a mature and succinct manner. Technically you will  have a minimum of two to five years working in a compliance role, Knowledge/understanding of standards, regulations and quality systems alongside Audit qualifications (RABQSA) or working towards.
