About the role
The Associate Director, Work Health Safety and Wellbeing is a key leadership position in the Office of Human Resources. They lead a diverse team of five professionals, that addresses strategic work health and safety issues and wellbeing initiatives.

In support of ongoing improvements and initiatives, an experienced senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing professional is required to partner with the organisation to build more awareness around WHS, Wellbeing and risk management strategies

This position will be based in Hawkesbury from July 2019. It is a full time position reporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources. 

About success
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • Qualifications in Workplace Safety and/or Auditing Compliance systems
  • Working knowledge of Workplace, Health & Safety ACT (2011) and Wellbeing strategic planning and developing, policies and legislation development
  • You will be a highly effective leader with the ability to build strong working relationships and develop a high functioning team with a proven capacity to lead staff in a service excellence orientated culture
  • Experience in conducting operational risk assessments.
  • Experience in manufacturing (desirable not essential)
  • Relevant experience in training and coaching at various levels of an organisation.
You must hold a current driving licence with a willingness to travel between multiple campuses as required.
